The first release of Shakin' All Over, later covered by The Guess Who. At that time The Guess Who's lead vocalist was Chad Allan. Shortly after he was replaced by Burton Cummings.


This was an English band. The song was first released in 1960, and went to #1 on the British pop charts. The band then re-recorded and re-released it in 1965, perhaps in response to the Guess Who's success with it.

This I didn't know, when they took RR the members of Led Zeppelin and Black Sabbath would party and jam together. There's supposedly a tape of John Bonham playing drums to Supernaut but I haven't found it.

As you can hear Bill Ward was still hypnotized by Santana's rhythm section when this was recorded.
