I would not have believed it if I hadn't seen it, Elton John nearly made James Hetfield cry.
Singing contralto isn't easy, I'm amazed that Miley Cyrus can do it. Supergroup behind her: Elton John, Andrew Watt, Yoyo Ma, Robert Trujjilo and Chad Smith. The Peppers drummer puts in some great snare rolls that Lars never did.

George Thorogood is one of my all time favs....he was supposed to perform locally in late April/early May....but has become sick and his health is not good so the shows were cancelled.........he is a blues/rocker ..so i included this song .....a great cover of the Elmore James original......................get well soon George

July 27 2024, will be the 40th Anniversary of the release of Ride the Lightning.
George Thorogood and Pat Travers are cut from the same cloth. Saw Travers at the Orangeville Black Out Club almost a decade ago now. Toronto musician.
Obviously moving to Colorado has helped James, he hasn't looked this healthy in a while. He turns 60 later this year.
All this week on Kimmel. These days it's all salads and seltzer, gone are the wild partying days of their youth.
