Amazing that Frankie Valli I now 87 years old and apparently will be performing in London England. Another Frankie, Avalon that is, hits 80 years and is also still going on music tours. Me I am also pushing 80 and having trouble lifting a mug of beer. LOL.
Wow, are you going back, x. I remember, Hello Marylou and Garden Party. Died in a plane crash when he was in his mid 40s. I also remember the movie which he was in with Dean Martin and John Wayne, Rio Bravo.
In the first part of the clip, if I'm not mistaken, that's James Burton on the Telecaster. He played lead guitar on most of Ricky's early songs.
He was also Elvis Presley's music director for the shows at the Las Vegas Hilton. I was lucky enough to catch one of those shows back then, before Elvis got fat...
