It's a strange coincidence that less than a week ago I came across a video of him from the 80s urinating and farting on blonde hookers that was seized in a police raid at his house. I guess we all have a kinky side.

Anyway, RIP, legend. Keep rocking out up there.

He was a true piss-fiend and pee-vert. He was once convicted for setting up a hidden pee-cam in the ladies' toilet of his music club in St Louis, Blueberry Hill.

He was also a musical genius and the real inventor of rock and roll. So maybe in some karmic way, it all fits together.

Fascinating. People used to say rock n roll was the "Devil's music" created and enjoyed by degenerates. Maybe they were right?

Yup. That's back when it was way better and way more fun!

Tonight, in his honour, I will play with my Ding-a-Ling.
Funny post.

Not to diminish it but "My Ding-a-Ling" was his only #1 hit. I read somewhere a long time ago that he had to be convinced by label management to record it, and hated having to play it at his shows forever after. However in my fact-checking research just now I haven't found any evidence to support that.

The song certainly made him a lot of money though.....

An icon has passed. RIP to the founding father of rock n roll music.

He made life hard for himself but he, along with Bo Didley, created rocknroll. I could list endless examples of his influence but I'll pick the most obvious.

Keith Richards inducted Chuck Berry in the RockNRoll HOF. This is Sweet Little Sixteen...circa 1968.

Never got the praise of King of Rock and Roll like Elvis did but every bit as good & probably influenced more aspiring musicians from that era than anyone. When John Lennon comes to see you in concert you know you got something special. Got to meet him at an event & stupid me didn't get his autograph
