These things happen.

Remember the people who in the 1930's used Xerox stock certificates to paper over a hole in the wall, and them in the late 1040's had to attempt to steam them off the wall.

Von, ( Il Gambero ) Are you still heavily invested in the pecorino market?

Not anymore. I got bought out when the Norwegians bought Tre Stelle. It's now known as Arla Foods but I'm not involved. I'm now in the Bubba Gump shrimp business.
Von, that is a good thing that you are out. Rumor has it that the odor of your little pecorino can be smelled from the next room.

I used St Patrick's Day as a benchmark, markets usually recover as the weather gets warmer.
Von, are you market timing annually or semi-annually? There are plenty of investment opportunities that do not need warming by the weather. I market time by weeks and months making my informed decisions on a rotating basis on half to a dozen stocks. Moving into one and out of another as opportunities present themselves. I am not afraid to get paid to wait, as Kevin taught me.

I used St Patrick's Day as a benchmark, markets usually recover as the weather gets warmer. I'll be very surprised if the markets are up 30% by then. NASDAQ has taken a severe beating that's starting to look like the Y2K bubble burst. All the major tentpole tech companies are down at least 15%, $9 billion has disappeared in a matter of weeks. They were way over valued from the start.

The biggest losers are what I refer to a "moron tech", tech companies that do not improve quality of life. Investing in Facebook is not the same as investing in DePuy Synthes, of the major RD Medical Technology companies only Cardinal Health is sleeping with bears.
This is wrong on so many accounts I dont know where to begin...

but it sounded so impressive
....................to the non investor. Correct me if I am wrong. I believe you can not directly invest in Depuy Synthes as it is a subsidiary of Johnson and Johnson.

HM you are correct, I checked DePuy Synthes after posting, they are part of Johnson and Johnson.
I hate to tell you this. The guy who sold you the shares in Depuy Synthes has probably absconded with your money and the stock certificates he issued to you are worthless. I am sure he is long gone and if you try to call him you will find that his telephone number has been disconnected.
