Robberies have increased by approximately 31.4 per cent compared to 2023, which may raise growing concerns about safety among residents. However, police emphasize that incidents such as break-ins, thefts, frauds and cyber frauds are of particular concern to businesses, which are often more targeted by criminals.

Compared to last year’s total of 2,434 incidents, break-ins have increased by approximately 7.7 per cent in 2024.

Residents might breathe a sigh of relief, as vehicle thefts are notably lower this year compared to the same time last year (Jan. 1 – Dec. 16, 2023), when a total of 7,637 incidents were reported across Mississauga and Brampton.

Hit them hard when arrested and let owners shoot them.

YOU, for voting for him

it's much easier to break things than to fix them

Trudeau broke Canada, fixing it will be a challenge
Wrong, never voted for him.

Yet I have very little confidence PP will fix anything. Fixing would need a lot of work, especially from the richer of society who will need to contribute more.

that's the Marxist solution to all problems

pay more taxes and problems will magically disappear
What is your solution? It's easy to complain. It's a lot harder to bring solutions.

In the suburbs where I live the food bank has fucking long lines now. I see people that I recognize in the line. Parents of kids I teach soccer. Parents of friends of my kids... And I do not live in a particularly poor area at all.

When too many people are struggling there is more theft and looting. Unfortunately.

my solution would be to fix the broken house we live in before giving our tax money away to international "pet projects"

if our government can't fix homelessness and hunger in Canada

then for sure they can't fix the climate change

we have to admit first that there is just not enough money to fix everything

start small, help the homeless and hungry

I don't think that the increase in crime in Canada is caused by struggling people

but by seasoned criminals who are thriving in a country with Hug-a-Thug government policy

Who will you blame once Trudeau is out and these things do not stop?
But they will stop. Trudeau himself is backpedalling on his disastrous policies. Whoever comes next will continue to roll them back.
