I recently had the chance to meet River Wylde last week in downtown. Her stated age is 30, but she definitely appears older—somewhere between her mid-30s to late 30s or even early 40s. Her body type is exactly like in her pictures from twitter and her website—thick and curvy, which is my type and the reason I booked her. The incall was at a premium hotel in downtown.

When she opened the door, I was a bit disappointed because she looked older than her stated age. However, her attitude was very warm and pleasant, which made me feel comfortable quickly. I handed over the donation and went to take a shower. The action started as soon as I walked out of the bathroom. Her service was okay and I got all the acronyms I mentioned over text. I finished with CIM and have no complaints about her service—she delivered everything she promised.

Now, this is where I am extremely disappointed with one of her actions. I have a kink for collecting videos of my encounters with escorts who offer filming. When we were setting up the appointment, I asked her about the filming option, and she was open to it under one condition: it could only be filmed on her phone, and she would send it to me after the session. I was completely fine with this condition and managed to film a lot of great scenes during the session on her phone.

After the session, while I was leaving, she told me she would send the video the next day. I left and later texted her asking for the video. She replied that she was having issues sending it over her phone and would send it later through her computer. It’s been more than a week since we met, and I still haven’t heard from her about the video. I texted her yesterday, but there’s been no reply. I don’t know what’s going on or what she’s doing with the video. Hopefully, my face won’t end up in any OnlyFans videos, lol.

Special mention to Calista diamandis who is another indy provider whom I saw last year and ended up recording our time on her phone as we discussed prior to the appointment. I had a great time and she send me the copy of the film even before I reach home. She’s very professional about what she’s doing.

Can you clarify a few points of this story which I think are pertinent?

Did you agree to film for a fee which was already paid? Did you agree to a timeline?

It sounds like you filmed the segments? If that’s the case, then why would your face be there? And it sounds like you consented to being filmed. I’m not saying that consent = blanket use, but why assume that she would post it on to OF simply because she didn’t send you the video?

Fair enough to say you were disappointed, but in my experience dealing with River, she is professional and based on the details you provided, the story doesn’t seem clear to me.

Personally, I think a provider always has the right to retract a service they feel uncomfortable with and so in any case, unless you paid for filming you didn’t receive, I still think it’s within a provider’s right to change their mind or to change their mind and refund you for the filming.

That’s my take on it anyways and it would be interesting to hear the other side of the story. 🙏

No , I didn’t pay any extra money for filming. She didn’t mention any extra payment for filming while we discussed prior to the appointment.

If she decides not to send me the copy, I completely understand and have no issue with her decision, as it’s her choice and I didn’t pay any extra amount. However, the polite thing to do would be to inform me of her decision. If she needs more time to edit and send the copy, she could simply ask or give me an approximate date or time, which would be fair to both parties, instead of leaving me waiting and ghosting me.

Thanks for clarifying this as it does reflect on someone’s professionalism and harms their reputation if it’s implied that they charged you for services they didn’t deliver.

In this case it sounds like River offered to do something extra for you and so in that sense, it was just a nice gesture on her part. I really don’t think it reflects upon her professionalism at all given the circumstances.

Hopefully she will get back to you and let you know what happened but it sounds like she gave you a good service and you’re disappointed that you didn’t get extra mileage you were hoping for but really weren’t owed.

Life happens and it’s only been a week. I can think of at least a dozen reasons why I might not get back to a client on a specific issue. Best not to make negative assumptions. At least you had a fun date and she let you film it gratis whether you have the final copy or not. 😘

I disagree with this take and do agree with the op
I think maybe op could have agreed on timing or even airdropped it right away
But it’s not about the filming. It’s about having it after
And I think he might not have agreed to have it on her phone if she had not intended to give it back. It takes five minutes tops to do this

It definitely doesn’t feel professional to me. I

The OP already explained she agreed ONLY if it was taken on her phone and sent after the session,

“I asked her about the filming option, and she was open to it under one condition: it could only be filmed on her phone, and she would send it to me after the session.”

So either she changed her mind, there was a misunderstanding or she just hasn’t gotten around to it. But I don’t see that she’s done anything egregious under any of these situations. People have the right to change their minds about sensitive content, he received the services he paid for and over and above that no timeline was discussed. Patience, tolerance & understanding seem is short supply these days. 🙁

Yes to all of the above. It’s possibly not egregious But I think the professional thing to do is to say so; Reply promptly and then allay the person that it’s been deleted. I don’t think it’s as much about patience tolerance and understanding but clear and considerate communication. The op put trust in her. She has clearly seen his texts and is not giving the information.

I agree that he has the right to request to have the video deleted. But can the OP clarify if he actually wrote her and asked her to have the material deleted?

I responded to the OP. yesterday via text and was going to let it be but the final response as left me feeling uncomfortable.

I apologized for the delay and lack of response. I have been occupied in personal life this week and it did slip off my radar. I took responsibility for the lack of communication and expressed that since it was taken to public I'm no longer comfortable sharing the video as I'm not sure what he would do with it and I would be deleting (which I have).

He responded very positively saying he understood and respected my choices and had a good time with me; that if I had of responded he would not have taken the issue to TERB. Again yes, that's on me for not getting back to him promptly.

What's left me feeling unsettled is that he insinuated that if I were to provide the video he would consider removing this post.

In the future, if I choose to film again I will ensure I institute a filming fee with a set timeline for deliverables. A valuable lesson learned.

I dunno I feel if the recording was a part of the session and OP would not have went ahead with it then I can understand their frustrations but there is also the consent angle if the provider no longer feels comfortable sending the video out. Fair thing would probably be to give out some sort of goodwill gesture like a partial refund or a discount on the next encounter. Glad i am not in this mess haha.

And this is why we must institute fees for anything that’s extra since there will be certain clients who take this to mean anything we offer to do as a nice gesture is now part of our base fee and therefore will deserve a discount if they don’t get their bonus mileage.

Sorry, but I can’t agree and this would set a really bad precedent for consent and comfortability. There are some things that we all retain the right to change our minds on. That doesn’t give you an entitlement to a rebate. And writing a retaliatory negative review to try to now extract that mileage is in poor form IMHO.

I think this is a bit petty and a nothing burger.

We can agree on this! set expectations of what to expect, boundaries, fees, ymmv etc.

100% agree and this is why we advertise specific services for specific rates and then post policies to our websites.

Often times clients ask for things that are outside our normal activities, policies and procedures. And other times clients either push limits in terms of health and safety or comfortability. This is just a normal part of the job and we can’t always anticipate everything ahead.

In this case, the OP already expressed he received a nice date as advertised. He just didn’t get something extra he requested but didn’t actually pay for, so it’s a nothing burger. The only part I find disagreeable is to write a negative review in order to try to negotiate getting your extra.

I’ll try to make this more clear with an analogy. If I book a hotel the check-in time is 3PM. I know this and it is advertised on the hotel’s website. I personally really appreciate early check-in and some extras like toothpaste and mouthwash. The hotel will often try to accommodate me. But then when I arrive for whatever reason the room is not ready or they ran out of mouthwash. But I still checked into my room on time and had a nice stay. Do I now try to extract a rebate from the hotel? Do I write a negative review saying it's an unprofessional establishment? And by the way, I found the room is a bit dated to try and make my case more convincing? Or is that petty Karen behaviour?

As SWs we understand very well that saying yes becomes a slippery slope where a concession is now perceived as an entitlement. This is why we often see YMMV and a refussal to discuss acronyms. And so you can’t have it both ways. If you want to ask for specific things, especially services outside of our normal repertoire, you need to understand we retain the right to change our minds. Consent means continual consent, not just over text ahead of the date.

I think a better lesson to be taken from this post is to book providers who specialize in the things you’re looking for and advertise these. Don't go to steakhouse asking for sushi, then complain you got raw beef.

If she has mentioned any extra charges, I would have happily paid for it. And all this problem happened because of lack of clear communication. It doesn’t matter if I paid any extra for filming or not, if the provider and me is agreed to film and if we filmed our session, I m entitled to ask her for the video after the session. Because that’s what we were agreed upon as its filmed for me and she would send it once she edited or whatever.

This review board is for to share everyone’s experiences and to protect both the providers and clients from scam and abuse. I don’t know what do you mean by calling this a negative review. Please read this review again and you will understand I was dissatisfied with the only part of filming. I still had an amazing time with this provider and I believe she also enjoyed our time together.

If she is not comfortable sending me the video, the best thing to do is to inform me about it, and I could have understood that. I already wait more than a week and I can’t always wait and watch my phone for a response.

Actually no, you're not “entitled” to it morally, ethically nor legally. Consent can be withdrawn at any time and if this is not something you understand, then we have a much bigger problem here.

The fact that you’re still complaining about not getting a video you did not pay for and is not a component of a provider’e advertised services, and then not getting a timely enough response when River has already apologized profusely says a lot about you and your inflated sense of entitlement. Even if you had discussed a video fee beforehand, she still has the right to change her mind and return that fee.

You admitted that it was a good date but then you had to undermine her professionalism and pile on a statement about her credibility saying she looked older than her stated age of 34, implying she might be in her 40s which is patently false. Over and above that, dangling removing negative comments in exchange for a service borders on extortion tactics which is in really bad form.

Instead of just accepting a sincere apology for a minor miscommunication issue, you're sounding like the type of client who tries to push the limits and then gets upset when you’re told no—precisely the reason so many sex workers do not want to negotiate services over text. If having a video was so critical, you should have contracted a sex worker who explicitly offers and has experience in this area.

River may be too sweet and polite to say something, but I have no problem calling out this bad behaviour which is another important aspect of this board. Hopefully other clients will read this and realize this is not the way to get what you want.

Lol lol lol….. our life is too short for this bullshit…I already moved on when she told me she doesn’t feel comfortable to send that video anymore. Moreover, I m not gonna cry here for not getting a porn lol…. I have other big things to worry about in my life. I enjoyed our time together and that’s what matters to me most. As I mentioned earlier, it was all due to the lack of proper communication. And yes, I am entitled to ask for the video, since I m the one who brought it upto her prior to the appointment and it was solely filmed it for me under my request. You can keep whining by saying whatever you like. Me , personally thanking the provider for giving an amazing time and I doubt anyone would dissatisfy of her service as she’s highly service oriented. And yeah, I mentioned about the age because, she looked a bit older than the stated age for me. But thats not really a deal breaker for me as she was respectul and bubbly throughout our time. The looks are always subjective and I said what I felt about it. In other words, its called freedom of speech or the right to express, in case if you don’t know about it. This is a review board and I genuinely shared my experience here and thats what it is for. Anyways, I won’t be answering here again and if you want to keep whining here, you can go ahead. Have a wonderful evening.
