Interesting that earlier today CP24 reported that he is survived by 2 children. You may recall years ago his former secretary claimed to have given birth to 2 of his sons out of wedlock. One of those boys was a dead ringer for Mel.

He was a decent mayor of North York, not the worst mayor of new Toronto and a master salesman and self promoter. In essence- a typical politician, just a bit less bland.

I remember when the story broke, and I chalked it up to "who knows"?. Then I saw the guy and was like "holy fuck this guy is his clone....lol"
