They don't have a decent replacement for Brian Johnson, I think you're right.End of an era
you have the voice (Brian) and also you have the energy (Angus) that make up most of AC/DC. You lose either one is like no nipples on a 34c boobThey don't have a decent replacement for Brian Johnson, I think you're right.
why is it the lead guitarist and vocalist getting all the attention and more pussy than the rhythm guitarist, backing vocalist and songwriter of a rock band? No doubt, Malcolm was the driving force behind the power house > AC/DC!Uhhhh, quite the image there.
A lot of AC/DC being great was due to Malcolm... great rhythm guitarist and he is the guy behind many of their greatest riffs.
Without his foundation, Angus can't be Angus, and the band would not have had the impact they did.
RIP... and depressing as hell what a motherfucker dementia can be.
Oh maybe for the same reason Eddie Van Halen and David Lee Roth get the attention.why is it the lead guitarist and vocalist getting all the attention and more pussy than the rhythm guitarist, backing vocalist and songwriter of a rock band? It would seem that the Young family does not have longevity on their side.surprised nobody mentions the passing of elder brother George last monthhttp://www.rollingstone.com/music/news/george-young-easybeats-guitarist-and-acdc-producer-dead-at-70-w509890
Easy Beats were the Beatles of Australia. George Young and Harry Vander wrote pile of great hits, including "Friday on my mind" and on and on. big loss in that family in the past month.
All original members + Brian were instrumental to their sound. For example even as 'basic' as the drumming was, it's exactly what the music called for. One of the best of all time.Uhhhh, quite the image there.

Except when Mick Taylor was lead guitarist...wrong.Keith Richards was always lead guitarist
Never heard a Mick Taylor track with the stones. I don't listen to them much. However the first album, which consisted of Chuck Berry covers or songs of a similar ilk, showed Keith off as a kick ass lead guitarist. Never liked much of his stuff since, but he was the lead guitarist. The blonde guy with the Beatle hair cut was Brian jones, strumming away on rhytm guitar. the vid isn't them playing route 66, they are playing something else. However Mick Taylor's brief contributions seem to have faded away. Replacement Ronnie Wood, also plays rhythm guitar. Keith has always played lead.As GameBoy has indicated, Mick Taylor played lead, and Keef was primarily rhythm.
The reality is the Stones have not had a great lead guitarist since Mick Taylor left. Keith is a stellar rhythm player, great writer, but is not a great soloist.
It is no coincidence they have never been able to equal the Mick Taylor years.
Don't believe me? Even Hitler agrees: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OF5R-4HA2Zk
