Pop rocker Eric Carmen has passed at 74, he fronted the Raspberries with such hits as "Go All the Way".
Solo hits, All By Myself, Never Gonna Fall in Love Again, Hungry Eyes.

I didn't know that he fronted a group before his solo career. All By Myself is one of the greatest power ballads of all time. And of course Hungry Eyes was a huge hit from the Dirty Dancing soundtrack. RIP Eric.

In 1972-73, CKGM, (980 on the AM dial), in Montreal would only play this song after 9 PM, because of the lyrics, but 'The Chucker', Chuck Morgan played it a lot.

Back in the day, (80's), All By Myself was a popular 'song #3' for strippers' stage shows, usually writhing around on the fake fur rug. That might possibly have been a Montreal thing.
