Sorry, it's M. Emmet Walsh. Gotta have that 1st "M" in there.

First thing I remember seeing him in was Blood Simple, a Coen Bothers movie (their 1st?) from the mid '80s. The kind of guy you'd recognize but never know his name.

I think his screen name was M. Emmett Walsh. A very popular character actor throughout his career. He was a part of many movies I enjoyed growing up - Wildcats, Fletch, Back to School, Narrow Margin, The Mighty Quinn.

I can't believe this dude was still active acting in his late 80's. Talk about dedicated to your craft. RIP sir 🙏
