It's strange - just yesterday someone asked me if he was still alive. I said yes, of course.

RIP Donald Sutherland

RIP Donald.
Two iconic roles: Oddball in Kelly's Heroes, and Prof Jennings in Animal House.

Long time Blue Jays fan, He even attended games at Excrement Stadium.

He was a premio actor, meaning he made actors who worked with him better than they thought they were. Most notably Jane Fonda (Klute) and Mary Tyler Moore (Ordinary People). My favorite film of his is Invasion of the Body Snatchers, written and directed by Phillip Kaufman (Raiders of the Lost Ark, The Right Stuff).

Donald Sutherland and Christoper Plummer, the gold standard in Canadian acting. I'll also remember Sutherland as a die hard Expos fan right to the end and beyond. RIP.

RIP. Had a great life. To be proud of. Very interesting and ironic persona. I remember, when I was living in the UK as a young loser, back in the sixties. There were a lot of good TV dramas. Plays of the week etc. and he was a regular. Quirky and humorous. Always grabbed my attention. Likeable guy. Thanks for the memories.
