Add my thumbs-up to the whole Brazil experience. There is only one other place that I miss more than Fantasia in Toronto - Help Discoteca in Rio (also closed now unfortunately). The women of Brazil are friendly and flirtacious as well as gorgeous. I took many pictures of regular women on Ipanema and they did not seem to mind in the least - most actually seemed to be posing for me. They take it as a compliment if you look at them and smile softly - unlike here. Never went to a Terma, but went to a strip club off Copacabana - mildly ripped off on drinks, but the back-room action gave a whole new meaning to "mileage". I did find language to be a problem - if I could speak Portuguese, I might retire down there!!! I am sure the World Cup and Olympics will bring many more opportunities for tourists and providers to create new experiences.
