My son turns 19 soon and he wants to go to a strip club with me. Do you think this is a good idea ? I haven't been to a club in years mostly because I find them boring and expensive. So if I decide to do this which one should I take him to?

I would have died before going to a strip club with my dad. That'd just be weird to me. Doesn't he have some older friends who could take him? Make sure he knows the pitfalls first!
Make sure he understands these are professional hustlers he's dealing with. Make sure he knows the fee structure. Make sure he knows a strip club is a dangerous place to get drunk without a few good buddies around. Make sure he knows to respect boundaries. Make him keep to a budget. Tell him to have fun.
We get this sometimes, just make sure he knows what the deal is re:tipping.
The awkward thing is when the mother comes with the son... that was a weird situation.

But back to the OP, IMO, 1st strip club thing should be done with friends. Have a beer with him at home or take him to a sporting event to bond with him.
Under no circumstances you should take your son to a strip club.
On the other hand, give him some cash like $200 bucks, go have a good time with your friends at a strip club, that seems more like a rite of passage.
Isn't a rite of passage something where dad or mom is not involved? Like the children spread their wings when they are ready.

Anyways, back on topic, I agree completely that strip clubs are boring. Often the women aren't even good looking. Every drink costs an arm and a leg, and it don't even have booze in it.
Also, think of what can go wrong. Suppose you are sitting there with your son. He's getting excited with the naked titties around him, while dad being older, gets bored. Son gets more excited, wile old man gets even more bored.
Sooner or later, sonny starts thinking and get a thought like this: Why are you bored? Are you ... gay?
Now that, would be awkward.

If she is cool with it take him. Explain to him about the hustle. Explain to him about moderation. Explain to him about how this is fantasy.
