"When Waters rejoined Floyd for the Queen's benefit concert in 2005, they sounded like they'd never been apart"
I can't agree with you more, that was indeed an incredible performance.

Money is a fiendishly difficult song to play, listen to how tight it is...they even brought back Mel Collins to play sax!

now I'll only have my foggy memories of Pink Floyd at Ivor Wynne in 1976 to fall back on.

What a great day that was. Sunny and hot.

I am not afraid of dying, any time will do I don't mind.
Why should I be afraid of dying, there's no reason for it you have to go sometime.

Smoking dope in a suburban rec room and listening to Pink Floyd was the some of the best times of my teenage years. Rest in peace Rick.

There are a few bands, a few songs, a few riffs that sear themselves into your memory and leave such an impression that when you hear the music, it acts like a time machine and returns you to some place far away in time.

Some things have changed over the years. My drug of choice is now an 18 year old scotch, I no longer feel the need to rattle the beams and scare the neighbours by showing off my speakers, and I now have to pay for the affection of a sexy 19 or 20 year old.

Pink Floyd is a time machine like no other.

Remember when Dark Side came out on disc for the "Quad" systems.

Amazing stuff.

Never could get into Pink Floyd.

One of the most over rated bands in rock and roll history I think.

You are truly one fucked up little turd.

If you don't like a band, that's fine, but keep your fucking mouth shut about it when a guy died. You're just one of those guys who has to disagree with everyone and everything just because.

A sad day indeed. Much of Pink Floyd was a soundtrack to my life. Countless nights listening to 'Dark Side of the Moon', watching 'The Wall', smoking pot to 'Echoes' and 'Pigs'... Those are things that will remain with me forever.

RIP Rick my old friend, RIP

I watched Pink Floyd Pulse tonight in memory of him, a tribute, the same way I listened to "A Man I'll Never Be" the night Brad Delp died, and "You Can't Kill Rock 'n Roll" the night Randy Rhoads died.

All 3 R.I.P.
