Hung is another great show, not much publicity but it's about a male sp, who gets pimped out by two girls. It has it's funny moments if you are into that sort of stuff. Or a secret diary of a call girl, is a show about the viewpoint of a female sp. am I too obsessed with this hobby? Yes

Just get 'The Wire' box set. Such an epic show that I can't think of any other series as excellently written and performed as this. But, you need to watch it with an open mind and it might seem slow at first but it will become more interesting as you progress.

One of the best tv shows out there....
I would rate Boardwalk Empire and Game of Thrones higher than Justified (but its only a notch or two below) but its definitely better than Sons of Anarchy, Chicago Code or Hell on Wheels....
Great Dialogue, Great Acting....US Marshal in Kentucky....Has a nice western feel to it....
Community....Another underrated tv show....great comedy....Community is the real sitcom for nerds/geeks not the overrated "Big Bang Theory"....

I just started to watch Hell on Wheels and I have seen the first 3 episodes. It's excellent! I also downloaded The Killing but have not seen any of it yet. Anyone have an opinion on it?
the Killing is great...great acting and writing...a little slow compared to other series' but still addictive watching...can't wait for season two!
Same with the SO, she started watching season 4 without any idea about 1, 2 & 3. after she finished 4 (in 2 days btw) started 1, 2, 3, 4 (again) and now 5. in the span of 3 weeks.

Criminal Minds and CSI are two of favourites and they are also fairly politically correct (except I don't think there are any homos in the cast members like Glee and Grey's Anatomy).
