There's been an uptick of "kept deposits" by well known providers in current political and economical landscape.

Having "No Review Policy" while requiring new clients to book minimum 1.5 hour appointment and 50% deposit is a no bueno combination these days.

Just my 2 cents.
Interesting comment. Personally I have never been concerned with sending a deposit. I am not super active reading anything that starts to devolve into a "never send a deposit thread so I probably have missed this uptick in "kept deposits." Is there a thread or someplace we can look for some kind of statistical trend or are we talking about a gut feel anecdotal analysis?

The only thing I will say about reviews, is that they are beneficial to understand what kind of experience you want from an SP.
Sometimes, one wants something more vanilla, or one wants a more raunchy experience.
Better to get an idea than nothing at all.

Now, when I can't find a review about an SP, it tends to make me more nervous seeing them, unless they have a Twitter profile and active.

I totally get that perspective. But personally, I really enjoy reading some juicy details or even play-by-play reviews. If someone just writes "she sucked a great dick", or the dreaded "I don't like to go into details...but she was awesome" that leaves me wanting to know more. We all like different things, there are a lot of options out there, so I want to know what made it great.

Also, the very detailed ones can give you a bit of a window into the reviewer's perspective and sometimes help gauge if you should take some of their opinions with a grain of salt. When reading those play-by-play reviews, I keep in mind that YMMV, but reading those details can get me really excited and help me decide who to see. I don't hobby often so picking a new SP is probably bigger decision for me than it should be . So I like to go into some detail when writing my reviews too, for guys like me.

But too much detail is a concern. Partly because it seems a little crass to share EVERYTHING, and if an SP has made an effort to give a good time, I don't want to make her uncomfortable or cause her problems with what I post publicly. So what I do is ask at the end of the session if she wants a detailed review right now. If she says yes, I'll let her know she can check it out before I post it, if she wants. (That's just to give her a chance to say if there's anything uncomfortably detailed or a service she provided that she doesn't want every guy requesting.)

Another thing I think is good advice for people about to post a detailed review: start it off with a brief one or two sentence review at the top, for those who aren't in the mood to read through all the nitty gritty details.
Here's one I wrote that I think is an OK balance between not needing to go into a play-by-play of the entire session, but still includes some juicy details of the highlights for those who want to know.
I love this reply. It does help to see it from your perspective. And I totally get one to understand the juicy details. The only issue with that is you can't guarantee she's going to do the same thing with you. Which could set you up for an even bigger disappointment when you get there. Like for me personally if a guy just walks in with guns blazing and can't even have a like 10 minute conversation with me before he jumps in the shower and scrubs his ass then how am I supposed to even know him or what he's about or what could potentially turn him on. We haven't even said two words to each other.

I love what you said about asking the girl if she wants a review. I think there's some confusion out there when I said I had an unofficial nrp. I was just telling clients not to review me at the time because I didn't like how graphic the reviews were. However for me personally I enjoy a more sensual type of review. Again it's a free country and you guys can review me as you see fit.

I just think that it would be a much better place if review board culture sort of cultivated some type of a happy alliance between the provider and the reviewer. Sometimes it just gets really lethal on here. I was even afraid to post this because I didn't want people to think I was making an attack on the reviews. I realize that reviews are a critical part of the industry. I just wish they didn't have to be so salacious.

Thank you for taking the time to respond in such an amazing way

OK, I skip around sometimes. Don't reviews tend to go with being in a market? Accounts of advertisers on Terb seem to get moderated pretty closely. Maybe provide us with a glossary of politically incorrect terminology. For example, how about surgically enhanced breasts. That's a real mouthful(pun intended), but bolt-ons and manmades are the only nomenclature I can think of. Maybe you just want all potential negatives left off of reviews entirely?...
I realize many of you don't know me... But for those who do they can vouch and say that I'm actually just really sarcastic. I was making fun of the terminology because it sounds ridiculous. I mean if you guys want to use those ludicrous terms then go ahead but what's wrong with just saying she had great fake titties. But boys will be boys so use whatever words you guys want. I'm not going to lie I laughed when I read the fun bag thing about my own tits but it is ridiculous.🤣🤣🤣

Twitter is honestly the best place to check out an SP that you're interested in seeing because it gives you a glimpse into what the girls actually like. I mean if you're looking for somebody super bougie and fancy then you definitely don't want to book me cuz I'm more like a small town girl who just likes to crack jokes.

I think using a mixture of reviews and Twitter where you can get a full aspect of the provider you're going to see is a really great way of going about things. But I understand that Twitter isn't for everybody. Just like review boards aren't. But I like your thinking

The purpose of reviews IMHO is to get a glimpse of what the girl is really like, albeit at that time and with that person.

The purpose of marketing (ads, Tweets, websites) is to dress up the truth to look its best. Younger, slimmer, more open-minded, whatever.

Reviews well done will tell you things like if she's around the posted age, has saggy/firm/real breasts, slim/flabby waist, tats/piercings, pretty/GND face, CBJ only, etc. Anything that would make a guy walk out or wish he had.

Nothing in this hobby is worse than going thru the session anyway despite the girl being someone you would have never seen if you just knew a bit more.

A lot of guys dearly want a list of acronyms - did she do this, did she allow that. I can pretty much tell you that pretty much all girls will do pretty much anything with time, money, respect, perseverance, and (your own) performance.

These are by and large girls who like sex, have decided to turn that personal interest into a temporary source of income, and have developed the ability to separate their bodies from their hearts for the next 30/45/60 minutes.

It's tough because you wish to help out your mates, because the reviews of others have helped me. But, she's a human being, and you need to take account of that and respect that.

Yes, all these wonderful women being reviewed are "human beings" and NOT "commodities", review them first and foremost as just that a "real life person"! You can help everyone select a Lady by writing a thoughtful and genuine review, reciting the alphabet of acronyms is not need for a seasoned hobbyist!!!

Most of the reviews here have to be taken with a grain of salt...some with the shaker! One of the problems is when an agency girl is reviewed or sometimes an indy such as in your case where the guy adds fiction to the review or services that aren't there & then the next guy goes in reading this thinking she does this or that. Most agency girls doesn't have an account here & unless it's something really off base the agency doesn't want to take the time & get involved in it. These reviews do more harm then good.

Other reviews read like love letters & detail the entire encounter from start to finish...dude I don't want to relive your time with her just give me the basics & let me find out for myself! Years ago after visiting a few ladies in these sensationalized reviews they just laughed when I told them what was written...one was down right pissed

Tell me she has a great personality, awesome blue eyes, tiny waist, clean incall, nice ass, loves doggie, enjoys oral etc. I don't want to know if she rimmed you(I wouldn't see her after that anyways) that she gagged when FF, you tried to give her digits front & back...too much information!

It's purpose is to inform others we all understand that but some of the things said here about the ladies should not be worded the way they have. I've seen multiple instances on here where the girl is called ugly & worse. There's other ways to say this that show you have a little bit of class...I didn't find her attractive, she wasn't my cup of tea, definitely not my type etc. To go on about someone deliberately & hurt their feelings is beyond rude. We all have moms, sisters, daughters etc
This is exactly what I was saying on another post a week ago. These guys think they are writing a Dear Penthouse letter and the rest give them pats on the back for it. Weird. Also you are essentially having another guy turn you on from what he is writing. 🤣
