Either she was honest the entire time or the pressure I applied on her worked. My instinct says it was the latter. Her behaviour throughout was eithera very, very clever ruse or was consistent with genuinely thinking I had been paid.
This brings what seems to be an interesting closure to the story. Part of me thinks I should now delete the thread. Another part thinks the thread instructive to others.

Congrats on getting your money back!
I would leave it up as a caution to others. You never know...if you delete it, then some other TERBite (or is that TERBert?) could fall into the same trap a day, a week a month or a year from now.

Well the end result
is that whatever the reasons were for this whole thing, she's not a thief.
I meant to say I think she was just generally messed up and not really trying to steal.

b) she did go on a hiatus for several weeks matching my arranged time (her own website said so

Reno is the place to go to bed a pornstar...I go to south tahoe every winter to hit the slopes and cathouses. All the brothels around there have home-based and visiting pornstars. They're too rich for my pocketbook but I like having a drink and flirt with them then head back to the room with a 3bill gal instead of the 3LARGE pornstars. Atleast there they can't take your money and run
