Review - Aromatherapy HWY 7

Not sure if this place has been reviewed before. They advertise in the Record...catch line is "$35 for 50 minutes...".

They are located on Hwy 7 between Kitchener and Guelph (closer to Kitchener). Decided to give it a try...but since I have some experience with MPs in KW area I kept my expectations low...rightfully so.

Two attendants working...one was younger, long brunette hair, large, queen-sized, BBW (pick your adjective)...the one I chose was older (late 30s), blonde shoulder length hair, nice enough body.

Price was advertised - $35, time was not - no huge surprise - but having said that, the flip did come VERY fast.

Service was below average for KW - and I think we all know that that says something.

What did you tip colt?

It seems the staff has been turned over again. I have not been back since to check it out. I was curious a couple of weeks ago. I was coming back from Guelph, and there seemed to be an unusual number of vehicles parked outside. Made me wonder if I was missing something because as of late, the place has appeared dead when I drive by.

Calling to get info is a waste. The person(s) answering the phone can barely understand what you are saying, and asks more questions than they answer.

I guess the only solution will be to drop by a couple of times to see if any talent can be found. I will report back with any info.

I've not been there before myself but I here alot about arom. places. I don't really care though. I went into Ruby's today I must say the place is looking up. I guess the owner hired som pretty young things and the best part is you get to choose fromm 3 instead of 2. and like always not a soaker for the wallet. You decide what to tip not them. gotta like that. there having some kinda spook special till halloween. 50 hh/ 70h. includes reverse.
lets just say i walked feeling like gumby.

Thank-you for the unsolicited post in a thread that had nothing to do with Rubys.

If things are looking up by all means share some DETAILS...after some experience I find my definition of a "pretty young thing" and alot of MP/agency owners are VERY DIFFERENT...much in the same way my measuring tape and my weigh scales seem to be operating in different atmospheric conditions than theirs.

Also, please share all the things that you "hear" about aromatherapy places. Really, it is detailed and inciteful posts like yours that make this board great.

I don't really have anything against Ruby's. I find that the service is probably above par for K-W - but let's not kid ourselves that when compared to Toronto, Mississauga or even London that it is any great value.

I do have something against SHILLS.

Probably the Ruby's comment doesn't belong under the aromatherapy thread, but this is a slower, smaller section of TERB. Pretty sure we can self-police and spot the shills - and IMHO the jury is still out on Monsie (BTW welcome to the board Monsie). Personally I wouldn't mind hearing about PYTs at Ruby's - wouldn't be the first time they've had a couple travel through. Question is whether or not they will stick and be reviewed? The parlor, as you point out is well below T.O. standards, but we can still dream.

As for the aromtherapy place at Shantz & 7 - I have made the mistake ~once per year and always left wondering WTF I was thinking. Looks like this post was well timed to save me the waste this time.

One question for the team: versus the Toronto places is Guelph Aromatherapy (or whatever the place on Speedvale is called) about as good as it gets in the area?

IMHO Guelph Aromatherapy is the only place to go the GT (Golden Triagangle)

For me it's always about the service rather than the enivronment. I've had some really crappy service for some fairly serious coin ($150 and up) in a few of the GTA "palaces". Before it became Ruby's and Nicole left, Mystique, while certainly closer to a flea-bag than the Ritz, offered decent service at a decent price and was at least almost clean... plus I saved on the gas and time to Mississauga and back.

For me, the only real question that matters is, on your way out the door, did your get good service at a price you were happy with... Since Bailey left the Guelph joint, the place has not been the same and I see no reason to go back anytime soon... Bailey was worth it to me for the cost premium over Ruby's, but not now

Over the last couple years, Guelph Aromatheraphy had to be considered the best overall MP in the KW Guelph area. There was no better deal in town for the $100 NR. It was discreet, classy and clean. It also had one of the hottest lineups, in which all the women were gorgeous, not just one out of 6. But recently it does seem that they have lost their edge and the quality has dropped.

My experiences over the years at Mystique/Ruby's have been okay, but nothing special. As with any MP, the turnover is crazy and hot ones come and go. As an example, with this MP out on #7 just outside Kitchener, I have walked out after seeing what came to the door , but on two occassions I was in heaven. I guess that's why they call this a hobby.... the chase never ends!
