Here
Some requests for help from the locals.

First, can someone recommend a good local steakhouse? Something casual, not snooty, fun atmosphere, preferably downtown.

Second, can you recommend a fun bar for watching baseball, football and NASCAR this weekend? Day and Night choices might be different places, and I dont really care about location.

In the past, I always went over to Hooters in Missassauga because I could hang out by myself, sit at the bar, eat, drink and kill a few hours.

Third, any good downtown bars that are known to be meat markets in the over 25 crowd? Good female ratio, not too trendy or pretentious, good music, etc. Not strip clubs though.

Thanks for the help.

Interesting thread

I was planning on asking a similar question. I heard that a lot of strip bars in downtown serve food. Anyone responding to this thread, please let us know which stip clubs have the best food. Also, let us know the dress code, if any.

went to 'crocodile rock' a few weeks back for my girl friend's 'stagette'.

the place was crawling with women. casual dress and non-snotty atmosphere.

There are some waitresses there that are money, the greeter being a prime example, but the crowd when I went was less than spectacular. I went after work (about 6:00pm on a weeknight) so that may have had an impact.

The wierd thing was - they have nothing on tap... hard to believe but you need to buy beer by the bottle... to their credit the beer was cheap by the bottle though.

Betwixt her thighs ideally!
Armadillo's is a good downtown steakhouse. Casual but the steaks are just fine! Try the Tulip Restaurant on Queen Street East at Coxwell for the best steak for the price in Toronto!

Croc Rock also has cheap drinks but i wouldn't eat there.

Good casual dining is at somewhere like Casey's not a meat market.

casual steakhouse

Try the Keg Mansion. Downtown, casual, good food, reasonable prices and a real neat looking building.
