A comic-actor who didn't have to use vulgar language to make people laugh much like Red Skelton and more recently the late great John Pinette. May he Rest in Peace. He was a true Canadian but like many had to go to the US to make a decent living. Saw him many times some with his wife singer Catharine McKinnon.

He had a gentle humor that was not abusive, demeaning or insulting. He was funny without being crude. Today's comedians could learn a lot from him. RIP.
