When he was starting his pharma pump and dump scheme, he first went to his parent's friends to invest because he needed to show the institutional investors that there was some "real" hype. They were the ones that ended up losing the most because they are regular people and not hedge funds.
I repeat, this motherfucker scammed HIS OWN PARENT'S FRIENDS, AKA HIS AUNTS AND UNCLES! Luckily my own aunt and uncle didn't fall for his grift, but his parents lost many friends after getting scammed by their son.
What's even more shameless is that when he started running for president, he needed 20,000 donors or something like that to get on the Republican primary ballot. Who did he turn to first for donors? You guessed it, the same aunts and uncles he scammed years earlier! They all told him to go fuck himself!
This guy is a shameless grifter though and though, and now just like Trump he's discovered the most profitable grift in America, right wing politics.
