I'm an Indy, I do not book hotels unless I'm touring, and if you entered the building before I told you would be sent home for not following instructions designed for my safety and for discretion ;-)

Hmm there are a lot of potential scenarios. Two personal examples.

1. One time buzzer broke, I told the security a story of meeting someone in the building to purchase something from Kijiji, and was able to go up to see the lady.

2. There are several people trying to go in, instead of waiting like an idiot, I took a quick glance and noticed security wasn't there, so I followed everybody instead of waiting outside to buzz.

Your instructions may not work all the time. Be flexible and reasonable is the key.

But also, I always have access to real world info, even if it's by filing a John doe charge and putting in a subpoena to your bank for your info based on the etransfer deposit or gift card purchase. If you want to out me I will out you right back

- do not go haywire on Terb/Social Media and freak all potential clients out
- do not be unreasonable with your demands
- do not constantly argue about EVERYTHING
- do not behave like a ticking bomb with a short fuse

A lot of Asian agencies have secret cameras in the living room filming clients, so they know what they look like, it's for security. Several years ago this young Chinese kid teamed up with 2 black kids from his high school, and they robbed a bunch of ladies from agencies like Moonwaiting.

Went to see this indie massage lady and she had a camera somewhere in the building, like when you get off the elevator, a lot of them can see you before you see them.

Wow. That is a bold statement. Washed-up???? Really??? You sound really mad actually. Like that is a serious hate-on for indies. It’s your right but I wouldn’t want to carry around that much disdain for a group of people. I just can’t take that type of negativity and when it is self imposed- there is something you can do about it.

and you may have a budget for the pussy you buy but you don’t know the “price of pussy”. There is no set price for pussy. That is why there are indies killing it at $600/hr. They wouldn’t charge the rates if they weren’t getting it. Just sayin’. Another thing not worth carrying anger for. So what if someone you don’t want to see is getting the rates they are. Why care so much?. I just don’t get it. They have should have no effect on you. Not this type of effect. But that is just my opinion.

It’s true it is bullshit that I have to be ready 15 mins early because the client is sitting in my lobby instead of his car or a shop near by. This is literally just happened to me last night.

I like to be dressed and ready and then take 15-20 mins to finish a coffee and chill before the client comes up. So I am ready but not quite mentally in the game yet. It throws me off.

However having said that, that is the job. Dealing with people means dealing with issues regarding timing. It is a pain, but it is what it is. So I’m always ready a bit early and I leave time in case they are a little late. Over 10 mins and I am taking the overage out of you time.

I also make room on times differently depending on location. The location I’m at now doesn’t have the best parking situations. So I make room for that. Most guys show up on time but don’t get up to the condo suite until 10 mins later. So have no choice but to change things a bit. So I set in the times. A 1pm will finish at 2:15pm the latest. Because he probably doesn’t get up to the condo until 10-15 mins after 1pm. Even if he is on time, the session won’t ever start on time. If effects guys who are tight on time but there is nothing I can do about it. So timing is always an issue and sometimes not by choice. So we have to roll with it on both sides of the industry.

In my mainstream job I find it happens as well. Consults never start on time. It is just the way it is.

Ladies have the right to refuse you for any reason but I just can’t hold little things like this against a person. I don’t personally agree that if they come to the lobby early that they may disrespect the boundaries in the bedroom. Most are not doing it to be disrespectful, most are just idiots making a mistake. If I had of canceled on the client last night, I would have missed out on a very sweet and gentle man with a wonderful soft touch that I like and I would have lost on out cash, would have wasted my time getting ready for nothing. It just doesn’t make good business sense to me. But that is just me. Each lady is different and can run their business how they want.

Just want to say - posting the way we do weeds out men we would not get along with. It also weeds us out for you. It is actually beneficial when you think about it.

I don’t want to see all the different types of men here. There are plenty of posters I can name right now that I would not want to see based on their postings. Sometimes your posts make me say / I’m glad I don’t see him. Other posts make me say - yeah this is a guy who gets it and I can dig that. Not every man on TERB is a potiental client either.

Then there the guys that are not lounge people anyway. I have so many who find me on TERB yet they have never read one of my loud mouthed posts in the lounge. Because a lot don’t bother with the lounge.

So just showing that posting what we do and how we do, is often either a good thing for insuring we get the clients we like or it doesn’t effect our bottomline because guys are not reading what we say.

For me, I give clear instructions:

This is the address, text me when you're close, do NOT approach the building until I reply with the unit and buzzer number. When I give you the info, you MUST buzz as the elevator will NOT let you to my floor if you do not buzz, do NOT follow anyone in as this will also cause security to question you.

Four instructions have not been followed if you are inside before I’ve given you the buzzer code. So for me that's just a big red flag. A simple "I'm outside, whats the buzzer?" won't, but an "I'm in the lobby whats the unit number?"

A good friend of mine actually cancels the appointment in you're more than 15 minutes late, it's written on her website and she enforces it, I find it a bit extra but since it's been made clear I don't see the problem, because as mentioned, we can run our business how we want. I personally don't care, but your appointment is ending when it was supposed to, if you're a regular or tip for being late, I might give you more time, but ymmv lol

The whole point of being an indy aka self-employed is to make your own rules, and set your own prices.

How exactly would you know if "most" or the majority of ladies used to be with agencies? Did you ask the thousands, tens of thousands or more ladies about this? Further, your rate example doesn't make sense. The going agency rate has been around $250 per hour for quite a while. Granted, there are VIP agency girls with higher rates. What does writing 150 reviews have to do with anything?

This is why I never do e-transfer deposits and if I am doing a gift card, I always do a cash purchase for gift cards at a store and I give the provider only the redeem code. No other details. Never do anything that outs your real world info to providers.

And you'll never see me if a client outs me to my building, he deserves to be outed back. Just say that you want to harm sex workers and don't want to held accountable for it, it's less words.

I am saying clients need to protect their privacy by not doing etransfers, giving out real world info etc., The only one that talked about outing anyone on this thread is you, without any provocation and that is a huge red flag.

Yes reading comprehension is important. And if you used that to read between the lines you'd know that he was just using hyperbole to say that it was an over the top reaction to cancel the date and I assume, take his deposit, for merely entering the building early. So the OP was saying that just like it is over the top to out you for cancelling a date, it is over the top for you to cancel the date in the first place for merely entering the building a bit earlier.

The client could be like me. May be it is winter, and it is cold, and they used uber to get there and there is not a good place to wait outside. What have you. But to immediately brand them a likely boundary pusher sounds like you look for any and all excuses to cancel dates and take deposits. Which again, is another red flag. . There was one provider on here who was reported to have stolen deposits because the guy confirmed the date 2 mins late. (12:02PM instead of 12:00 PM). So its a tired and oft reported nonsense clients have to deal with, where they'd have to walk on egg shells or else they lose their money with no recourse.

Anyway, you are boring me now and I have better things to do like bash Mr. Apartheid and Mr. Genocide on the Israel threads . I will leave it here and say that a lot of the salty responses you are getting is entirely your doing. You come across as one of those providers who actually hate clients, and would create alt-Twitter client bashing accounts . Plenty of nice girls from agencies that don’t require e-transfer, this is Toronto with thousands of SPs I’ll never run out. I never saw one ad from an indie that looks good enough for me to hand over personal info.
