In my younger years in Ottawa I used to enjoy going to the various adult porn theatres on both sides of the river. Working as a co-op student in the late 80s/early 90s I used to enjoy finding the different joints listed in The Sun (Citizen?) and seeing what they were like. I had roommates at the time so this was a better solution (and pre-WWW!) than trying to watch VHS tapes in my room, even. Anyway, I remember the cavernous Cinema Cartier downtown Hull (I worked in gov't offices in that area), but also Cinema Pussycat down St. Joseph in Hull and another one a little further down from that. And, of course, Majixxx Video on Montreal Rd. above Playmate. Various other adult book/video stores had peep booths in back with some of those also offering multi-seat theatres, of various configs. It also allowed me to satisfy my bi-curiosity at the time, and was VERY cost-effective way for a poor student to get off. I kinda miss those places. I know One-in-Ten has/had something similar but I prefer watching straight porn, even if the experience offers bi options while sitting there.
