Relationships are difficult

I recently read a book called The Female Brain by Louann Brezandin. Its incredibly in depth and very complicated and the brain changes constantly over various months and years and stages of life. It should be required reading for every man. Its no wonder I have never been able to stay ahead of the various women in my life. I also read one of those Men are from Venus books - it was one about relationships - again quite an indepth complex series of books. Although the way of writing can seem a bit childish. But one section in one book had how to deal with a woman based on the stage of her cycle. It was eye opening. I wish I'd known this stuff 50 years ago.
Both books also explain why sex can go out the window at various stages of life. If Id known this maybe Id have never gotten married. At least not the second and 3rd times. And Id never have expected things to be different (better the devil you know type thing rings true here).
I would say relationships are hard because a) men have their own ways of doing things which is completely at odds with what women want/need/expect and b) women do too but they can constantly vary. Thats the trick. Just when you get the hang of doing something one way, without realising it, you now need to do it another way. It all comes down to lack of knowledge. And bad timing.
