Patriotism and blindness are do not go hand in hand.

Like I said one can exercise the right to vote and make changes.

Somehow I think many people who are denied this right might see supproting a free democratic government a privledge.

Sometimes the popular vote doesn't mean very much.

There's a lot of time between votes.

Sometimes a leader takes his people down a road they wouldn't go if they weren't so blinded by nationalistic patriotism.

Of course , this is all hypothetical !!??

True and to this end one need to look ahead to the future.


It is impossible to look ahead to the futrue and see what is the best decisions. I know in retospect I am thrilled some canidates lost elections. I have also noted that in some elections I may have voted for the wrong canidate. I can think of one in recent memory. But it turns out the right one won.

Ya ! We all sure breathed a sigh of relief when Jean Chretien was reelected.

Anyway, keep thinking and don't be afraid to look at the past for a little guidance.

I guess you would have to ask why soldiers hide behind innocents and use them as shields.

Why do dictactors use religion to hold a people hostage.

Why is monies earmarked for food spent on missles????

Sure we need to learn to live as one

But do you turn your back on people, because they are not next door???????
