Lately, I've noticed a number of agencies and indies providing "specials" in the $200 to $220 range for an hour. Is that price point just a seasonal dip or will it be the new norm? It's been between $240-$250 for a long time.

On the other hand, there seems to be the occasional high profile agency SP that goes indy and immediately ups her price by $50 to $100.

There's a market and price range for everyone.

I don't see it as a big deal, you can get a handjob for $60 or go to a high end spa and pay $160, the end result is the same.

You can get the same end result for free at home by yourself. Plainly the rate charged is for what gets you there.

To me it seems that there are some industries / commodities that don't seem to change in price for decades. I believe most is due to supply & demand. Examples are this hobby, and illegal drugs. There is just NEVER a shortage of either, and the supply seems to always grow.
