OTTAWA — The RCMP have beefed up security around Immigration Minister Diane Finley in response to threats from criminal groups that oppose her efforts to block foreign strippers from entering Canada, federal officials said yesterday."

I was contemplating making a snide remark asking which TERB member is responsible, but then I thought that these threats are no laughing matter. I guess some people really want those girls over here, for whatever reason.

A lot of foreign girls lead better lives as strippers here than they would live back home as non-strippers.

The bottom line is really simple: ugly women don't want hot women coming to Canada. And they certainly want to stamp out anything that would facilitate men getting their rocks off.

This isn't about slavery or abuse. It's about ugly women who just can't stand the fact that their husbands would rather be at the strip clubs oggling beautiful foreign girls than at home with their ugly asses.

This is making me reconsider my viewpoint. It saddens me to consider that perhaps there is far more exploitation of these foreign strippers than I thought was the case or have ever seen or experienced. When members of Organized Crime Gangs are willing to make apparently serious threats against a Federal Cabinet Minster obviously something extremely unsavory is going on.

"Shortly after the 39th Parliament convened, Finley announced to the House that she had been diagnosed with Graves' disease, a non-life-threatening thyroid condition which causes an increase in metabolism and sensitivity to heat, cold and bright lights. Because of the bright lighting in the House of Commons, Finley must wear tinted glasses to protect her eyes."

bike gangs control most of the stripper supply in Canada , through their effective negotiating technics I expect. The largest supply is eastern european women some of whom actually know they are coming over to be strippers. They don't like having their supply line cut.

Under tjhe liberal govt's of the past there was an actuall stripper classification in the immigration code. They removed it after some adverse publicity

There is/was a problem in Ontario getting strippers why don't know that is why we had Montreal strippers in all the clubs back when I was visiting( had hair then sort of) clubs. That changed when the bikers found out it was cheaper to buy women from the russian mob. The stripper clause in the immigration act came into play about then requested buy the club owners who could not get enough home grown talent. Single supply source went for the lower cost option .

1. don't want my step daughter induced into stripping. She will make more money as an SP

2. One less breathing Reform party member is a good step towards government downsizing. And besides if a Reformer gets taken out by say a biker toting a registered long gun it will serve as another example of the ol' Reform circle jerk chant "guns don't kill people, crazy people kill crazier people" and butress their argument against the gun registry.

3. The glasses are totalling not within 2008 style trends. Did she order a pair of Blublockers off a late night TV infomercial or is she channeling Ray Orbison?
