I guess what I'm saying is that you ladies should be prepared for this in the months to come, and "practice" a gentle rebuke. Getting "offended" will serve no purpose. Learning how to handle hagglers is important in any sort of business, and yours is no exception. Perhaps laughing it off, reinforcing the "special" service that's about to take place will be enough...
If this recession carries on for a long period of time, I suspect that there will be price adjustments in all industries... Business will rather have "some" business, rather than "no" business....
I can imagine that these situations must be really awkward, to say the least. At least when my customers try to haggle, it's likely over the phone, or by email, and we generally have our clothes on!Jolee said:I have a set rate so on and so forth, he became rude and went on and on about how he gets a cheaper from another girl. Thats when I told him to call her then.
I hear you brother. They'd have a hard time listening over their chuckling...Antari said:Not sure how well I'd haggle nakid.

Haggling on posted rates is simply not cool. It has little to do with the recession. If the rate is $.5 HR and tips requested, I could see where the tip portion is negotiable, but not the flat rate.toughb said:Recession? Who would have thought?...![]()

Stoo said:Maybe you girls could start a "frequent-flyer" type of loyalty programme... Pay for five, get the sixth at half price or something. The client gets a bit of a break and you get a regular client in an industry that's presumably filled with "one-go" guys...
Time to invest in some velcro shoes! Are you serious? 15 minutes? They must be catering to the 16 year-old market!Tiffany_69 said:I have noticed on CL a drop in major market areas. 15 min rates even lol
I have actually thought of doing this, especially when you do see someone a few times, its nice to let them know you appeciate that you the two of you have formed a relationship.Stoo said:Maybe you girls could start a "frequent-flyer" type of loyalty programme... This happens more then you would think Stoo!!!Stoo said:.....Are you serious? 15 minutes? .....
How about HICKIES! Somewhere good. If a married guy is seeing you, odds are the Missus isn't going anywhere near "there" anyway! Plus, it's like adding a limited time offer on the reward programme. If he's isn't back before the first one is gone, no prize!Jolee said:How abouts tho would one go abouts doing this I thought, a little stamp or punch card?
Oooo... Better not name names! I guess that's how you get so good at "conversation" eh?Jolee said:This happens more then you would think Stoo!!!
