First line:

Chris Bosh
Morris Peterson
Rasho Nesterovic
TJ Ford
Fred Jones/Anthony Parker

Luckily..TJ Ford and Bosh are already friends and ex-Teammates i think, and Peterson and Bosh have known each other for 3 years

2nd Line:

Andrea Bargnani
Jorge Garbojosa
Uros Slokar
Jose Calderon
Fred Jones/Anthony Parker

The second line are mostly guys who've actually all played with one another in Europe.

Damn this team is deep......Joey Graham and PJ Tucker could also have a run at starting positions.

If the Raps want a run and gun team, anyone tired will have at least 2 guys waiting to sub at most positions....Injuries should also be much less of a factor!!
Of course we can only hope that Bargnani actually has "game"

I'm really liking the roster, full of people used to winning and winning attitudes do count for a lot. On a side note, Steve Kerr also said good things about the acquisitions of Parker and Gabajosa in today's Yahoo article. Also read the SI article where Gherardini said he had no influence on the Raps drafting Bargnani. He allowed Kelly, Embry, Mitchell and BC to reach their own opinion since he didn't know Aldridge, Thomas etc. to make a proper comparison. He gets my respect for knowing his strengths and limitation, when to provide input and leadership and when to just stay back. I really think we're going to be the dark horse this season.

I like how the team looks BC has eliminated much of the negatives...I think he hopes to have a playoff season followed by a big offseason next year signing one or two stars(not likely two though)

From the looks of it BC have picked up role players that the team was missing/needed and he got rid of some one dimensional players and replaced them with players that have the potnetial to offer a number of things. He's also brought in players from winning programs.

The big question mark for me is that a lot of these players have not proven themselves in the NBA. Yes a number of them have played at high levels outside of the NBA but it doesn't mean they will neccessarily adjust to this game.

In short I think the team is much more well rounded than last year and loaded with more potential than last years team. One thing that I expect to stay the same is the locker room, it seemed like the players got along and I suspect that should stay the same as they haven't added any reputed hot heads.

AB looks good however 3 min worth of highlights during how many minutes of summer league ball? :D

Next step will be to see how he performs in the preseason games..... when do those start. They are distinct from Summer league, right?

He definitely stretches the floor and can put it on the floor. Even if his defense starts out suspect if he can put together offense like that he will prove himself to be a dencent pick...... can't expect a rook to do everything. Just hope he can at least do the things he was billed as being able to do...... shoot from the outside and put it on the floor like Dirk.

While i'm not sure if the Raptors will win a great deal more than last year, or they will even make the playoffs, at least they will be a fun team to watch. I went to a couple of games each of the first 6 or 7 years, haven't gone to a single game the past 3 or 4. This year i will definitely go to 1 or 2 games. They have gotten me interested in them again. While they could score last year you knew they couldn't stop anybody for shit, their defence royally sucked. This year I think they will score, but also may be just a bit better defensively. I am interested, which is more than i can say about the previous couple of seasons. Can't wait for the first tip-off.

I just don't think his defense can be that bad???

Even if he plays Matt Bonner like Defense, he is much taller and longer. He should create a lot more problems for penetrators, and opposing big men than Bonner or even Arrujo. He should definitely be an upgrade from those two players over last year on Defense. His offense should be an upgrade too.

Nesterovic is probably not an upgrade over Villanueva over the long run, but I think he's stronger on D, can contribute equally to CV's rookie year. He's a veteran, is stronger than CV and should bode well this year. He could even be due for a breakout season with no allstars playing in front of him.

Well AB got a lot of fouls so I think he's got a ways to go before we can say his defense is any good. Besides being better than Bonner and Arujo is not tough. :D

I believe any moves that BC did was just completing the puzzle. I think the key player to the team right now is TJ Ford... He is the point guard, thanks God we got a real point guard, who will orchestrate the plays...He will complement all the players especially the man, CB4, who is happy to stay and play for Toronto. BC is a smart guy...He is getting european star players to play for Toronto, later on asian players..because american players don't want to stay longer in Toronto. If we can get Yao Ming, the ACC attendance will be boosted by the Toronto Chinese community or Canada as a whole...Nothing much to say I think you got all my point...BC I believe has a Italian background...I am not sure though...just guessing.....maybe somebody can confirm this.....because I know Phoenix has an italian-american coach in D'A...And getting non-american players is not bad because the whole basketball world is catching up with USA..Hopefully we can get Canadian born players...maybe Steve Nash..but it is so remote to get him now..if we had gotten BC earlier than Bobcock,,

O

Oil Please

There won't be 2 lines because this isn't hockey its basketball and I would be sorprised if the rotation goes any deeper than 9 players. 35 wins would be great. 47 TOTALLY unrealistic!
