Faking the injuries insures your numbers will come under. Even playing bad might not.
He's guilty as fuck and will never play a game in the NBA again.
I would love nothing more then this to start conversations about the ethics of gambling. It's literally ruining sports. People don't give a shit about the teams anymore, they just want their player to cover their bet. What are doing here??? We're raising a generation of degenerate gamblers. I'm getting to the point where I'm watching less and less sports I can't go 10 seconds without some kind commercial, bill board or ticker telling me to bet. Sports talk radio has entire segments about betting now so I don't listen anymore. The spirit of sports is being totally taken out of the game, and we already have enough problems with kids glued to their fucking phones due to social media, without adding this shit.
I agree. Wayne Gretzky in the 90's would not promote gambling, now he's doing gambling commercials.
yeah and the thing I don't understand, I thought there was some kind of legislature passed that prohibited celebrities from promoting these gambling sites in Ontario, but I'm still seeing them. Though even that begs the question what qualifies as a "celebrity".

Gambling = $$$$ and it's hefty....at one point gambling will reach the right person they can use to make $$$...and all the big players behind it go untouched...Porter thought he was smart....no, he was getting played for chump change...i have no sympathy for him....i'd love to play in the NBA but I wasn't gifted with athleticism and height....He had both and blew h is chance...fuck him.
