IMHO Sam got lucky! He was lucky to get the head coaching job and then had the one season and won coach of the year making it hard for BC to dump him. Obviously he didn't get a lot of respect from the basket powers or you would be hearing his name as a serious candidate for some of the vacancies. Looks to me like he lines up behind Jack Armstrong for any openings.

Meaning Colangelo has made so many bad moves, Jay Triano wasn't close to the worst move. If Popovich coached this team he assembled last year we still wouldn't have been .500. In 5 years of being GM the best player you bring in is Andrea Bargnani, you're not doing your job.

yeah I agree, I thought you were saying Triano had done a good job. The talent just isn't there. Unfortunately last year there were a number of games where the effort wasn't there either.
