The Raptors deficiencies got exposed by Jonas and the Pelicans. The start too many small forwards and it showed.

Just imagine how good New Orleans will be "if" Shaq and Chuck's baby gets in shape. At the moment he looks like a Greg Oden in the making.

I don't care how tough Patrick Beverley thinks he is, he takes on Jonas, he will lose.

Last post 6 weeks ago. The Raps have been playing very good ball for the month of March. They have been beating top tier teams and have been improving every game. Pascal Siakam has taken it to a new level of play. They are looking very much like a team that can go deep in the playoffs.

Agreed, the Raps have been on a tear lately now that the roster is fully healthy. Earlier on in the season they were dealing with alot of injuries on the roster. Scotties Barnes is still a leading candidate for ROY.

The team is exquisitely constructed, very different than the formula NBA team. The team is top notch, from top to bottom, management, training, development, coaching.

In the playoffs, you better have a big man at the post.

They say small ball is the way to go, the Grizzlies and the Raptors both lost to bigger teams. When the Grizzlies went on offense, it looked like they went into a bowling alley. The ref was deplorable against the Raptors, every time Embiid got touched he got free throws. Then he went on a rampage with intent to injure - no calls. A Marc Gasol would have helped.

Great D by our boys last night.

They should be up 3-2 in this series when you think about it.

Philly is slowly deteriorating in each successive game. Let's hope this trend continues.
If anyone has a chance at coming back from 3-0 down in an NBA series for the very first time, its the Raptors. Never die attitude. And the 76'ers have a history of choking when it counts just like the Leafs.

Blow out, FVV was sorely missed. The Raptors couldn't buy a downtown shot, the 6ers were making them with ease. OG picked a bad time to have his worst playoff game. Maybe it was the putrid stench of failure from Loafs in attendance that brought the Raptors down?

Anthony Davis whispered sweet puzzo in Zion Williamson's ear, he's too good for the Pelicans.

Ugly second half but these guys have nothing to be ashamed of. Down 3-0 it would have just been easy to mail it in and get ready for next season but they fought and forced a game 6. Definitely were missing the talent and leadership of FVV on the court.

Biggest takeaways from this series: I hate Embiid. And Gary Trent Jr. is a very good player.

Player/Age

Barnes - 20
Trent Jr.- 22
Achiuwa- 22
Anunoby- 24
Siakam- 28
Van Vleet- 28
Boucher- 29
Birch- 29

This is a relatively young squad and they went 48-34 this season. I didn't think they'd sniff .500. More than exceeded my expectations. The future looks promising.

Embiid is a dirty whiner.

They are not getting past the Heat. The Raptors are almost a complete team, sadly they don't have a BAM.
