Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- Details continue to emerge following the fatal shooting and car explosion on the Las Vegas Strip Thursday morning.

A cab burst into flames, killing both people inside. It's the dramatic end to a violent shooting on the Las Vegas Strip.

Las Vegas police said the occupants of a black Range Rover opened fire on two people in a Maserati, killing the driver and causing the car to speed through a red light at Flamingo and collided with the cab.

The attorney of Kenneth Cherry Jr., also known as Kenny Clutch the rapper, confirmed to Action News, Clutch was the driver of the Maserati and was killed in the shooting.

In one of his music videos, Clutch is seen in what's believed to be the Maserati from the crime scene.

Supporters of Clutch are tweeting their condolences.

Because of the events Thursday morning, one of the newest headliners on the Las Vegas Strip postponed his arrival.

Cee Lo Green originally planned to make a grand entrance Thursday night. But, out of respect for the victims, he's rescheduling the event.

Green's first show runs next week at Planet Hollywood.

I'm sorry for the taxi driver and passenger who were merely in the wrong place at the wrong time.

I saw a couple of Toronto rappers speak out AGAINST gun violence. I know I will be accused of racism but that culture has to change. Otherwise, nothing else matters. 4 young men shot in Whitby yesterday.

A rapper was killed by the kind of thug activity his "art" glorified. Poetic justice. The death of the innocent bystanders is a tragedy.

A few years ago I saw documentary on the Mafia. It included an interview with a former Mafia hit man. He said he and his colleagues were always careful to avoid harming innocent bystanders. He contrasted that with the black thugs who would shoot everyone in the vicinity to kill one target. He thought they were despicable. When a professional killer thinks you have low moral standards you are pretty low. But the rap thugs are proud of themselves. They are scum.

Shoot, you actually mentioned the racial group of the rap thugs. Someone will probably justify their actions by saying they were all slaves 6,000 years ago.

You guys must read sensationalistic newspapers like the Toronto Sun, because I seem to be better informed, and oh I don’t know not as biased as you seem to be.....

If you don’t like black people or their culture, you don’t like black people and their culture. But don’t try and say you are not racist…..

Sure rap culture needs to change…but what about these organized crime (White gangsters) hits that involved killing or maiming innocent bystanders:

One of the gunmen in a botched 2004 gangland hit that paralyzed an innocent Toronto mother of three remains proud of his gang ties, declaring after his release from prison that his outlaw connections are only on hiatus while he completes his parole.

Several bystanders have also been injured or killed in the crossfire, most notably an 11-year-old boy who was struck down by shrapnel when a car bomb exploded in a residential Montreal neighbourhood in 1995

A man who was shot in the stomach during Monday’s homicide at a Little Italy ice-cream shop was an innocent victim, according to Toronto police

I can post more articles to prove that it is not just Black culture that needs to change.

True, but even people within the "community" are saying that things have to change. Are they also racist? Maybe they are sick and tired of seeing young ---- males die from gun violence.

The Chris Rock Knives for Guns Exchange:

This is actually my own VHS rip, I recognize it from the small bit at the end that should have been edited out. Someone must have downloaded it from me on eMule several years ago, and eventually it ended up on YouTube. That's happened with several .mpg clips I made from VHS in 2003-05.

You missed the point. Yes there are white gangsters, but white culture does not glorify them the way rap culture glorifies black thugs. Does disliking crime and criminals make me racist?

At least white gangsters never wore baggy pants with their boxers handing out.

So you are telling me that those Black Colonels and Captains (N) a number of years back were just "Uncle Toms" because they thought this Rapper/Gangster culture was helping to destroy young blacks.

White culture does not glorify white gangsters the way rap culture glorifies Black thugs???…You’re kidding right? LOL :D It’s done in a different medium (different form of media), but trust me, White people do glorify White gangsters!!! Jesse James (the outlaw), The Sopranos, Sons of Anarchy, Goodfellas etc. (I could literally go on for days!!)

How many people on this board talk about Black thugs and how much disdain they have for them, but in the same breath say how “cool” Bikers and the Mafia are…please don’t make me search for posts/threads to prove my point…lol

Maybe you are not racist….possibly just naïve, in that case I retract my accusatory statement. BTW I am sickened by the amount of violence in the Black community. I too dislike crime and criminals, but unlike you, I am not as biased!!

Yes, we could go on and talk about Jesse James (the outlaw) or the Mafia for days but how would this make the city safer for young Black males? It is not Jesse James or the Mafia that is shooting 15 year old Black males.
