Moss>>>>NE for a 4th rd pick

McCown and Williams from Detroit>>>>>Oakland for a 4th rd pick

Moss wanted NE for Superbowl chance and is willing to restructure his contract to get there. But will he restructure his attitude???

Raiders win...Detroit win....NE win

Randy Moss and Dante Stallworth together? Is there enough air around Boston for those two egos? I predict that NE will implode this year. I believe Belichick will not be able to wrangle these guys at all. Big mistake all around. Just ask people in Minnesota, Oakland, Philadelphia, and New Orleans. Those two destroy the integrity of teams.

It is not unusual for NE to have 8-10 different receivers catch the ball in any one game. NE WR's have always been death in Fantasy Leagues because of this, even though as a team they win and put up good yardage and TD's through the air.
If Moss believes he is going there to catch 125 passes and get 1500 yards and 25 TD's he is sadly mistaken. I don't see Bellichek suddenly waking up to the realization for the past 8 years he has been doing it all wrong.
NE has always been a TEAM first and that is why they have success.

the clock is ticking.....

Moss IMO has began to realize that nobody in the NFL is untouchable. Belichek does not strike me as a coach who will take any shit from a player. His offense runs a certain number of recievers in sets -so Moss cannot realistically think that asking for a trade to New England would make the coach change his entire game plan just to make him happy and for more touches.

Moss is a heat score. TO is a downright moron. Moss will still attract a corner and a safety to him, with or without the ball. With that many recievers, NE can run an Indy type offense but IMO with better RBs and a more solid team attitude, they've become a serious and more consistent threat. Moss still demands respect from defenses and without the safeties teeing off on him, he'll have more looks at one on one coverage.

Moss will get set straight by his team mates -they're not loser. They've won without him of all people. He is joining this team with his hat in his hand (even taking a pay cut) just for the realistic chance of winning a SuperBowl.
Belichek will not allow Moss to poison his team....ask Deon Branch.

I like the move by NE. 4th rounder is a cheap price for a potential 1000yard WR. What is OAK thinking? I know he is a cancer for the team but with Russel now running the show, atleast give the 2 a chance for some synergy.

They could've traded him away mid season and atleast get what they received, if not more if Moss plays decent.

Moss will definitely occupy the opponents' best Corner and a safety. He is a deep threat thus opening up the secondary and can be very beneficial in the NE style of offence.

I HATE INDY and especially PEYTON!!!!!!

Dungy is an alright tho.

I'll go against everyone here and say he'll do good in NE. If the Pats had a half decent receiver this past playoff they might'ov gotten allot further then they did. I recall in the last Pats/Indy game (I think or another game around that time) their receivers kept droppin balls in the end zone and it costs them the . As I was watchin I was sayin to myself "They (Pats) need to get a go-to receiver cause these guys suck"
The guy was in the end zone with no one around him and he dropped the ball which gave momentum to Indy.

Moss might be the guy after all.

NE for the first time during the Brady era is loaded with WRs not counting their TEs both of whom aren't afraid to go slot or run hard slants down the middle.

NE doesn't have to worry about Moss being a total cancer, Owens has that title. I think Moss can make this very good (and ultimately unbettable)team better.

They got a pile of possible pro-bowl recievers for next to nothing. Long term-one year guaranteed contract for Stallworth? Somebody shoot his agent.Miami gave up Wes Walker for a second round pick -are you kidding me? Al Davis must be dead -a fourth rounder for Moss? Somebody call the cops, the Raiders just got robbed. Add to that Maroney, Gaffney, Kelly Washington and of course Brown (the ultimate team player).

I hope NE blows teams off early in the season, that would make for beautiful teaser numbers by week 4. On top of that NE picked up a blue chip defensive player in the draft Brandon Meriweather (now he's got the potential to make PacMan look like a choir boy -but since he's a rookie, I doubt he acts like too much of a heat-score).

Game one should silence some critics. Moss had a great numbers day but the wealth in TD receptions were certainly spread around. Moss drew defenders all around him all day, but even with his TD score, the DBs couldn't really do anything -Moss is still fast (bad hammy aside), great hands and has a nose for getting open -and Brady will find him along with 6 other recievers he's got on any given play.
I watched the post game interview with Moss -he knows what he's in for. Randy Moss joined NE for a chance to win. Period. That division is in trouble.
