In all honestly, I don't know who the bigger dick was....the guy who"Are you just off the boat" or the customer saying"Did you just come from Domo?"....a gas chain insinuating that he was a idiot I believe.He also said"can I speak with your ghetto Manager" which is a bit of racism in itself.It is amazing how fast Sears flinched.Guy lost his job.....smells like a bit of a set up to me.The retail guy kept his cool a lot longer then I would.....I would have walked his ass in and finished the conversation.

I was going to say, I believe he said he was Indian(which I believe is a self inflicted derogatory term.It's native American ).What would that have to do with coming off boats?Again, this just seemed too put together.Camera in hand and buttons ready to be pushed.Sometimes when people lash out it's not about deep seated racism but retaliation.If someone trashed me with a "dumbass" comment in front of other people I'd probably lash out to.

I'd agree. Perhaps anti-immigrant but I've heard it used about Whites more than any other race.

Still not a wise term to use.

Both act like assholes...I would've laid the customer out if I will only lose a job from Sears...but of course there's always assault and battery you need to think of. Not very well played by both parties. But that was a dick move by the staff. You can't make comments like that ...

i ve only heard it use for East Indians , middle eastern people and Asians and is usually followed by a " fuck you chink ", or" paki" ...or a "learn fucking english"...ive only heard white people say it..even to me

Back in those years most immigrants were WHITE (with the odd chinese thrown in) so again, HOW is that in any way relevant to an Indian?
