Well, I ate at Subway today for comparison.
Quizno's: Large sub, chips, drink. $8.37 US (with coupon).
Subway: Large sub, chips, drink. $8.81 (no coupon).
The Quizno's sub tasted more evenly toasted and the roll was thicker. It was also overstuffed. Good stuff to bread ratio.
The Subway sub was also toasted but the roll was thinner, and was much more stingy on the filler material. This resulted in a noticeably flatter sub overall. Much lower stuff to bread ratio. On the other hand, the Subway sub is much neater (no mess) and you could probably eat it while driving!
