Alternatively, ask the physician to prescribe a 10 mg pill, or even a 5 mg daily manitenance dose (or occasional as required). If the OP needs 20 mg, then he could take two pills. No cutting required.
Good post by the way. I used to be nervous to speak about these topics with my family Doctor or a walk-in clinic Doctor but not anymore. These Doctors have seen and heard it all before. The problem with Viagra and Cialis and I've tried them both is that a Doctor can get into serious trouble if he/she prescibes these pills without a proper medical work-up. For example, if a patient is taking any pills that contain nitrates then the Doctor usually won't prescribe either Viagra or Cialis to a patient.I think its a good question. Honestly, I have never had the courage to ask my doctor. Thats a whole another topic I know.
But out of curiousity, if one goes to Walk in, how does this go?
Me: Hello Doc.
Doc: What can I do for you?
Me: Need to get a hard on?
Now ideally the answer should be "Here you go (i.e, Prescription), Pharmasy is next door, thanks come again!"
But I always wondered, won't the doc say " I am not your Doc, don't know your med History, what are you doing here?"
And then I make a double shameful exit, once for asking and second for getting kicked out.

Very off-topic but I'm actually starting to think that Cialis is a more effective pill then Viagra. I took a 20mg dose of Cialis for "on-demand" dosing last Wednesday. I find that you get better erections then with Viagra. The chance for erections also last for 36 hours with Cialis whereas they only last for 4 hours with Viagra. I was at my gym yesterday and this hot chick got on the treadmill wearing a very sexy gym outfit. I was riding the recumbant bike and I had an amazing view of her gorgeous ass. I started popping major wood--LMAO. This never happened to me when I took Viagra.
IGNORE THAT there have been many cases of side effects with herbal as they aren't regulated. I mean hell, they put melamine into baby formula, what do you think they will put into dick meds?
Just like any other drug, it depends on the individual. what may work for you might be disasterous for the other guy. Having said that, I have heard more favourable things about Cialis than for Viagra. The fact that Cialis effects last up to 3 days is why they call it the 'weekend' pill. By the way, your exerience with the big C has been my own experience, and with only a 5 mg dose.
The way that hese durgs work causes nasal congestion and headaches. But, often, you get used to it or the syptoms eventually go away. If the syptoms get worse, see you GP.
I found a product that helps. Unlike Viagra and Cialis it doesnt start working with one dose. But when taken regularly, I have better sex.
