Looks like the sordid underbelly of hockey is bubbling to the surface and giving "Canada's Game" a black eye.
There are probably dozens of these entitled athletes shitting their hockey pants and reaching out for legal help.
In the past our glorious game and the people that ran it were able to hide the nasty shenanigans of our beloved heroes in waiting, giving them a slap on the wrist and chalking it up to "boys being boys". "Just make sure this latest event is swept under the carpet", was the preferred method of dealing with these types of issues.
Time to remove the old guard and outdated thinking from the game as it has become too political and has lost the vision of what "sport" really means.
