The latest poll had 19% undecided, most of them coming from the Liberals. Undecided do not want to vote for Charest because of all the corruption, and do not want to vote for the PQ. Most will probably vote for Legault and it means either a PQ or CAQ minority government. As for referendum, unless the Conservatives do something really stupid, there will not be another one for the next 10 years (if ever).
These numbers don't represent the numbers that will come with the comments from CAQ and BQ, you watch.

Agreed. That said, should they vote at some point for seperation, it should be handled like a divorce. A proper accounting of who owes who what, settlement terms for the debt, restrictions on currency, armed forces etc., and the kids should decide who they want to live with. After all that is said and done, Quebec should look somewhat like Greece in terms of their economics. Good luck to them!

Quebec is actually not doing badly economically. A lot depends on what you measure and how. The over-politicization of the debate on both sides of this topic makes is near impossible to have an intelligent discussion about it. Pierre Fortin out of Université de Montréal had some interesting findings in Inroads magazine a couple of years ago.
I'm more worried about what's happening with wages and productivity in Ontario, and the absence of vision around this by all three Ontario parties.
