The problem with hitz fm is the formula that they have where they alternate between classic rock, newer rock and new rock in three song cycles. Rarely do I like all three songs in a row.MuffDiver said:

There is nothing wrong with the Q promoting Kim Mitchells album. There is no conflict of interest. If you want to talk about payola talk to Sam Sniderman. He brought payola to Canada and made it very difficult to sell records here unless you played ball with him. Its impossible to make a profit on Canadian distribution. We just dont have the numbers here. Poor Kim needs all the help he can get. He has done fairly well as a songwriter but his publishing revinues cant be enough to make a good living on. Hence, he works at Q107. He made an album and Q may have points on it, I dont know what his deal is like, but how can you call promotion shameless. We are all talking about the record, so I guess the promotion shameless or not is working. Good luck Kim, I saw the Max Webster reunion gig and it brought back alot of teenage hardon memorys. Will there be a tour?
I find that when people request stuff you get pretty predictable stuff but usually I come across something that I have forgotten or have not heard before..... that's better than most radio stations/programs.Larry_Fyne said:
