If NATO specifically went in to supply arms to him fighting on Russian soil, I don't think anyone would argue it wasn't a proxy war.

According to Twitter, Wagner has taken Rostov-on-Don against little opposition, seizing the military headquarters there. And there is fighting in Voronezh, hundreds of miles away and north of Kharkiv. There is footage on Twitter.

Last time was a truck bomb.
Ukraine currently has no missiles to hit the Kerch bridge.
The current range from the nearest Ukrainian held land is 260 KM while the longest range weapon they have is the storm shadow with a range of 250 KM, plus you would never put these missile launchers directly on the front line.
This is why they need ATACMS with ranges up to 300 KM
