I think 6 is referring to the decade-old Russian internal propaganda blitz that Russia's survival depends on it reuniting the East Slavic people in one big, friggin' Volk of Amazing Glory.
But the song says "Reunited and it feels so good"
I can't even trust anymore.
Also rather particular that they don't include all slavs in that.
I think they hate on Poles in particular and will not allow them to be part of the love-in. And Serbs and Bulgarians are country cousins at best.
They owned most of it in Tsarist days and did go to war over it in early communist days, also Molotov.
If it wasn't for NATO, I'd be Poutine would want it.

oh okay I see. Generally I am sure that if you scrape any of them you would see some condescending big country mentality, just like Americans have for example. But to be honest, for all I know mentioning of Ukraine in an attack on Putin would have led to treason charges and 10 year jail terms. I still consider them heroes. You do this in Russia now - you better be ready to die any day after that. If this is not heroic, what is?

I'm just doing my best Kamil Galeev here. But his twitter screeds say that Putin allows a Far Right opposition - within certain, controlled bounds - so he can posture as a "moderate and thoughtful liberal" to Russians by not (for instance) advocating that Muslims be banned from visiting Moscow and arrested on sight.
It's a game. The opposition quotes Hitler and says blatantly racist stuff and Putin pretends to allow it and let's them have money to campaign on. And now and again, he singles out individuals like Navalny and kills or imprisons them just to keep the rest in line.
It's a parody of an electoral democracy.
It was given to them in the Partitions and again at the Congress of Vienna, but I don't believe they consider it a proper, decent Slavic country.
It goes back to False Dimitri and the Time of Troubles. And the Poles betrayed their Slavism by becoming Catholic. All very bad things.
these guys were way too detailed and nasty in their attack on Putin. Putin could not have possibly been okay with it. I believe those were genuinely not happy with putin. They are entitled to complain about harm that Putin caused Russia and not mention harm to Ukraine. Not their job to worry about Ukraine in the end of the day. And it does not diminish the fact that they put themselves in a huge risk right now. Russia is fairly close to Stalin regime now and back then nobody questioned Stalin and lived to tell the story.

They ALL know that Russia is a fucking disgustingly brutal and oppressive society towards each other and a shitty country to live in. That’s why they got the fuck out of there. And I used to be happy when any Russian gets that opportunity.
But my mind has been changed, and hardened against Russians by these few anonymous posters expressing their true hearts and minds. It fucking disgusts me that they use the freedom of Canada and trot out the excuses of being racially offended when they are out right stating that Ukrainians and Ukraine do not have the right to exist. That is fucking genocide and hate speech.
while they know it intellectually, you do have to excuse them somewhat because they have been indoctrinated and brainwashed by a key characteristic of Russian society, propaganda.
There is no inhumane brutality, just war, that Ukraine started by being dumb and gullible, and I hope this bloodshed ends quick.
Dont get 2 carried away though, you should know your enemy. Only time will tell, and I still stand by my statements here ukis are done for, and that country is gone in all but name.
