But Putin doesn't really give a shitsky about what the west does or how it feels.

He DOES give a shitsky about what happens inside Russia. Which is why dissenters always meet a little accidentsky - as do many, many people who are non-dissenters, but just become unpopular with the aparatchiki for whatever reason.
