Provider's Birthday/week/month ?

What are your thoughts when a provider SP or MA posts that they're celebrating their birthday? Does it make you want to book them or avoid them ? I prefer to avoid booking them if I haven't met them before because I feel pressured to tip more than usual or bring a gift.
I guess it would be nice to know if it's your favorite lady's birthday so you can do something special for her but does it have a negative effect on new clients ?

Please keep discussion respectful and no names or bashing of the provider's who do post their Birthdays.

Please don't infer I'm cheap because of this post since I pretty well tip every provider, unless the session is totally poor, which hasn't really happened all that often. My opinion is that It's ok to mention it's their birthday, but it does get a bit annoying when they start mentioning the birthday at the beginning of a month or week and then keep harping on it for days on end. We all have birthdays don't we, and if the purpose of highlighting this is to perhaps get a gift or extra tip, then should clients highlight their birthday in order to get a discount?

I'm not against SP/MAs sharing their Birthday info and if they want to celebrate it for weeks or months . I'm just wondering if it's a good marketing strategy? Do prospective clients look at that info and go "Hey I should see her since it's her birthday" or do they go " I think I'll see someone else because I don't have the extra cash for a big tip or gifts".

When I see "birthday month/week" in a twitter bio, I head elsewhere.

Too many other great providers that don't just see us a "means to an end".

Evelynn at Alpha is one of them, and Vanesssa at CMJ. NEVER felt that way with either of them.

Same here. Also if a SW repeatedly posts their WishTender list, I avoid. The old-fashioned term is gold-digger; don't know what the hip new term is.

I wouldn’t even buy a girlfriend a birthday gift let alone an SP. I say no when they quote a price and then tack on additional costs for extras such as bbbj, dfk or whatever. Thankfully I’m not that dumb to gift extras to them just because they post their wish list or it being their bday but sadly many guys fall into this.

Well to be fair......I do celebrate my Birthday Month also......but I usually supply the whiskey when people stop over to help keep the celebrations going!! So....I'd say let them do it.....and if someone wants to send them something or give a little extra.....meh.....have fun!

I think maybe their reasoning behind making it a birthday week or birthday month is that they do not want to reveal their actual birthday. Same with how almost all ladies will use a different name than their real name, it may be a privacy concern for them. They also use it as an invitation to collect extra gifts or tips.

It doesn't make any difference for me.
"Happy Birthday! I wish you everything you want."

Only for my regulars : If it does happen that I was going to book her at the same period, I may bring a little something extra, like flowers or a small gift. But I won't make a big deal out of it.

I also dislike those who are strongly expecting something and put pressure. That's the way I am, not only in hobby but in real life too.
