What I think some are not understanding is that we are being vulnerable by posting some very personal fantasies here and the bidding is not for an inanimate object, it is for us.

So when we are receiving very low bids, time wasters and arguments over set boundaries, it is disheartening and insulting as again, the bid is for us, not a signed jersey.

I am leaving because my mental health comes first and I found myself getting frustrated. It isn't due to one low bid as you so simply put; it is due to many crappy behaviours I've been subjected to since I began my participation. The extremely low bid I mentioned was just the last straw, so call that low class if you wish but I do not have to tolerate mistreatment even for charity.

I can donate the money myself, and I do often.
In the last auction I raised $950 for charity and in this auction I did accept one bid, so my total is now $1000.

I'm airing my grievances (as did quite a few others) hoping that some members will wake the fuck up and follow the guidelines or that some will make a bid on the SPs or MAs who are still participating.
I did not post hoping that other ladies will follow and leave, so your assumption is wrong.

PS.
Most auctions have a minimum bid.
I've participated as a bidder in countless auctions and have yet to encounter one without a minimum bid requirement.

To say a minimum bid requirement will only cause issues is basically saying that you know some of your TERB peers are incapable of reading and following simple instructions. These are adult men FFS.

A minimum bid is mentioned in the rules AND our individual posts, so there really is no excuse for the members who underbid.
These are probably the same clients who lowball rates or don't read our ads.

I’ve removed my posts from the auction.

I had much more success in my auction on Twitter last year which raised over 2,000$ for the SWPDF.

Unfortunately this forum doesn’t seem to be the right place for supporting charity or respecting the efforts made by many of the providers here, and it’s truly disheartening.

I’ll be posting a new auction over on my Twitter account probably next month. So if you missed your chance here, hopefully you’ll have better luck next time.

I don’t offer regular discounts or specials, so if you’re on a budget and haven’t been able to see me previously then your best bet is to wait till I offer some type of incentive in support of CORAS or the SWPDF.

Good luck to everyone else still participating.
I think that posting an auction elsewhere is a great idea.

I might offer the fantasies on my website under "Fantasies 4 Charity" and for every fantasy booked I will make a donation.

Fair enough. My concern of people taking their ball and going home because a few players are making it not fun for them remains. Why air it out in the thread? Seems like they want others to quit with them. Participate, or don't,. It really doesn't matter, but bringing this out for everyone seems to be trying to sour everyone on the experience. There are some great scenarios presented and I am sure there are some fantastic bids. Let it play out. No need to make this a public dispute spewing negativity.
So if we don’t air out the bad behaviour… we just ignore it and let it continue?

No, I hope this helps clients reflect on how they choose to participate. I’m sorry if you don’t agree, or don’t like people shedding light on these issues. This is a pretty unique case considering it’s an auction for charity. But it’s also reflective of the poor behaviours many providers have to just “deal with” as part of the job.

We’ll still raise money for charity regardless of this auction or not.

It would just be nice to see the same respect, enthusiasm and support from members on this board. Especially considering members would be getting a pretty fantastic return out of winning one of these bids.

And if you aren’t participating by making a bid, why are you butthurt about us calling out the “bad players” here? You have no skin in the game.

Not butt hurt at all. Just calling out the negativity and hypocrisy that contributes to a toxic or negative environment. It works both ways. I have no doubt that there are men who make participating on this board, Twitter, etc challenging for providers. Shame on them for doing so. But there are many providers who contribute to the toxicity.

Are they simply calling it out? Perhaps, but it often comes across something more than that. Instead of just saying "guys do better. You are underbidding which is against the rules." It becomes generalizations of torment that clearly only applies to a few bad apples and an attempt to sabotage an otherwise kind initiative for charity for all by unnecessarily stating that they are not playing any more implying that others should do the same. It starts with Blissin, the Kitty, and then McKenna. Minimal bids remain and the thread officially derailed. Initiative sabotaged.

I know that my opposition to some comments made by respected providers will make me the bad guy now, but it is frustrating watching so many threads become toxic or negative because some posters (men and women alike) can't remember that this is supposed to be fun, entertaining, and to some degree an escape from negativity. Instead, some people seem to lack respect for the very people they are paying a lot of money to see or making a lot of money from seeing them. It has come to the point where it is risky to tell a provider you have a terb account because they assume that you are one of the assholes writing shit that targets their income potential. Just go on X and you will notice the number of providers who seem to hate the men of terb as they have lumped us all together.

I’m sorry that you’ve internalized what I’ve posted as a negative response and took it personally despite not having participated in this auction.
I’m really not going to comment further since we seem to have two very different outlooks on the subject.
I’m not going to waste more energy defending myself or feeling guilted by someone who clearly doesn’t recognize what I’ve already done to support these charities over the past year.

Thank you for apologizing for how you think I feel???

Your benevolent contributions to charity are wonderful and none of my comments are about minimizing that. In fact, I have no clue how or if you contribute to charity. That is for you and those who benefit from it. My comments are solely about this auctoon and the negative impact that some are having on what should have been a fun yet beneficial auction.

Well that’s really disappointing 😒

My guess would be the mods considered it as advertising and the providers who have posted aren’t paid advertisers on TERB ?

Still, common mods, you couldn’t have just let it slide and support some charitable causes?

It would be great if @Mod123 or another Mod could provide some clarification to understand what specifically is allowed or not with respect to this or future charitable auctions? Can clients still post an auction? Can advertising ladies post an auction? Can providers or clients post a link to an auction hosted elsewhere? In other words, what model is acceptable?

Thanks 🙏❤

Today was the due date for bids I think?

So maybe mods were letting it slide until the bid due date? And now they just consider it advertising?

An answer from mods would be nice and helpful though...
