If a provider (or client) loses consciousness during a session due to health issues (diabetic keto acidosis, syncope, stroke, severe allergic reaction and anaphylaxis, etc.), what would be the best course of action? Immediately call 911 or call the booker first? Find their clothes and dress them I guess so when EMS arrives they are ready for transfer? Do we have to be present as they are rushed to the ER? What do we tell EMS if they ask about us? Hope this never happens but curious what to do.

It has happen before to a SP more than 10 years ago. She called 911, they arrived, dressed the guy, heart condition I think, Paramedics took all his belonging, they smiled at her and winked and told her, her uncle will be okay , they left then she did.

Wow so good of the paramedics🙄you never know if this girl needs help after experiencing that... but were gonna mock her? Sick .....I over heard two police officers telling a story how a women complained about sexual assault in the workplace and when they asked him about it he said he didn't see anything when he did. I looked at them and said seriously? Then he snapped and said not at this job.....! 😤 good save. Point of the story is, many of you men have daughters. And women have a right not to be touched in the workplace same with men being touched. remember how karma works. Any of you wonder why I'm escorting? I'm on disability because I was threatened to be fired when I spoke about two men who harassed me in the workplace. I hear about how rude some of these comments to women are. Do we ever thank them for risking their lives or hygiene? Because half these women wouldn't be doing it if given the choice. Remember that as well. And sometimes you don't even have to do anything wrong in life to get screwed by the system royally. I guess their all just business trying to do business... your daughters will grow up in this world one day... what will your comments be if your daughter is harassed in a male dominant industry? The paramedics and police officers we have... why Thank you for creating the problem in the first place. First responders... helping the public one by one. The police looked at me like a piece of meat... like why bother doing anything for her... she can make us good money!!! KARMA is a bitch

How would you rate and review the session after? What would you say…
“she opened the door and my heart stopped “
“ She was wearing the cutest nurses uniform, then I realized I was in the ICU “
“ I took one for the team and one for a pacemaker”
“ It felt like she was going to suck the life out of me, and she almost did”
“ I usually complain when the girls on her phone, until I realized she was calling 911”

Call 911, what's the matter with you? Yes stick around until paramedics get their.
The answer is not that simple. Yes, if you have an emergency, you want the girl to call 911. If the girl has an emergency, she wants you to call 911. But if the girl has an emergency and calling 911 and waiting for an ambulance may lead to your SO's suspicion, do you really want to call 911 or call the agency and leave? What is more important to you: your privacy or the girl's life (assuming you are able to keep your identity secret)? In current times it is not possible to keep your identity secret if she'll die, so, you have no choice but to call 911. However, 20 years ago walking away was a viable option.

That’s quite the fucking situation your concerned about over there.

Yeah call 911, the booker and go through her phone and call her mom too! Be a gentleman and make sure she is ok when EMS arrive.

At that point, the persons life trumps any privacy concerns for either party.

Call 911.
Stay until Paramedics arrive.
Do not dress the person until paramedics arrive, as you are not supposed to move an unconscious person before being medically sure it is safe.
If you have the training, administer CPR.

Years ago I asked an agency SP what the agency's protocol was if a client had a heart attack, she replied "Dress him and throw him into an elevator" LOL!

I agree with above, but to the eyes of the Police who need to make quota do you think they will believe - "We hooked up and wanted to have some fun?"
Now I am not negative but realistic, what if she had bruises on her body from a few days ago because she went hiking?

I would still call.

You'd be fine. People hook up all time.
It's not realistic, small bruises don't equate to severe medical emergencies

If we care at all about others, we need to remind ourselves that everyone's life experiences colours their response to situations. My initial reaction reaction to the paramedics comment was they were trying to reassure the girl that the guy would be OK and that her relationship with him was of no concern to them. I know some firefighters and paramedics and have heard what they see on a regular basis. Any call that they feel confident the patient will recover from and is relatively clean is a good call. But sometimes, to protect themselves, they develop a sense of gallows humour. I suspect that was the intent here, not mocking. But, I read the pain in your post. Intent counts less in communication than how it interpreted by the recipient. That's Harassment Training 101. I don't have any context on the original scene, but it has clearly struck a chord for you, and that makes your viewpoint valid. We all should be sensitive to that. I'm sorry to hear no one in authority at your workplace was. Karma can be a bitch, but can also be a friend. I hope she will be yours one day soon.

A reminder of what one of the old regulars always used to say: Treat 'em with respect, boys.
