Saddam Hussein and the Assad family did not prosecute their Christian communities like what groups that followed did after the start of those wars.

Whoever is talking about protecting Christians in the Middle East is interested in something else rather than what they purport to support.

Christians are just some of the many believers being persecuted around the world. By other believers. A good many Christians among the persecuters and bigots. With seven billion hiumans crowding the globe, it's high-time religions stopped whining about their hardships and started practising the tolerance and understanding they want from others.

Christians could be showing how that's done, not declaring national emergencies to build walls that turn away the poor and hopeful, not locking up children and not decreeing anti-religion travel bans.

If you were ever a Christian, you should know it by heart, but if you need to, look up Matthew 25:35-40.

The verses from Matthew are actually about helping those who come to you in need, right where you live. Lotsa those here, no need to travel to find 'em.

Has Trump One — he uses a taxpayer-paid plane now, and it must be sitting idle — ever been used to ferry medical supplies or food and water bought with the profits of his 'smartly' faked bankruptcies?
