I was stuck in a parking lot where the Autoroute 15 and 40 combine for a few km for some special needs reason of bad highway design. I had to laugh seeing some guy in a Ferrari ahead of me also going 0 kph. Never mind that these cars have a reputation for being uncomfortable. more so back then.

Busses are horrible. Back in the 90s when I was living car free in Hamilton, when it was the weekend at least I'd walk to campus 5km and often by the time the bus passed me I was almost there. During weekdays when going from downtown to Mac it was fine with the every 5 minutes service, ditto for the Montreal Metro. Otherwise though, I shudder. As for in this small berg, fuggetabouit, quicker to walk. First you have to show up early just in case. Also you have to time things around the half hour schedule, ready to leave now, too bad. Then the time for the trip as with teh frequent stops it's slower. Add to that in my derpy little town they often have the wrong display on the sign as to which bus it is and downtown it does matter.
