Yesterday, I heard a message from a pro-life group advising separate school ratepayers to support like-minded public school trustees in today's election.
If I had picked up the phone, I would've objected to such a call. Despite my personal feelings on the subject, we live in a secular society, where a woman's right to choose is enshrined in the law of the land.
Also, municipal politics has nothing to do with this issue.
I just think it's nuts. I also fear that we are seeing a trend to evangelical-inspired politics.
